On March 8, the Muriel Arnason Library and Langley International Festival Society held their second annual International Women's Day and it was a huge success. Many thanks to all the attendees, speakers, Henna artist, and specail thanks to volunteers and the media.

Library celebrated Lunar New Year
Tuesday, January 24, 2012: Muriel Arnason Library celebrated its 4th Annual Chinese New Year that was well attended. Around 225 people primary kids enjoyed multicultural craft and traditional food. Throughout the afternoon, children, adults and even grandparents created dancing dragon puppets and lucky red envelopes (complete with chocolate coins) to help mark Year of the Dragon.
